One thing that holds many people back from trauma therapy is the fear they will have to relive the trauma in excruciating detail. In this video, registered psychotherapist Tara Lalonde explains that new trauma research shows there are less invasive, and more effective, treatments that do not require clients to go through this process. However, that does not mean the process is easy, but she does offer hope that even small steps have provided great freedom to her clients.
