ABOUT THE POSITION
Focus on the Family Canada is seeking seeking an enthusiastic and creative Integrated Marketing Coordinator to join our team. This role involves coordinating and executing content strategies across digital and social media platforms, supporting marketing campaigns, and working collaboratively with the Marketing Manager and other departments to enhance brand awareness and engagement.
You’ll play a key role in creating social media content and managing various channels, assisting with the production of promotional campaigns, supporting company initiatives, and assisting in administrative functions to ensure smooth project execution. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Cross-Functional Campaign Support:
- Support the Marketing Manager in developing and executing various campaigns to promote leading programs, resources, and other marketing initiatives.
- Ensure campaign alignment with the strategic goals and priorities set by senior leadership; connecting solutions, services, and marketing to support demand-driven programs.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to bring Focus on the Family Canada’s national campaigns to life.
- Assist in conducting market research to support organizational efforts.
- Identify opportunities for improvement, provide fresh ideas, and help develop approaches for project implementation and execution that can be leveraged cross-functionally.
- Track and report on campaigns, promotions, and other marketing efforts, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Email Marketing:
- Coordinate the execution of email marketing campaigns, including drafting, scheduling, and deploying emails in collaboration with the Marketing Manager.
- Assist in creating engaging email content that aligns with the organization's objectives and resonates with the audience.
- Monitor email campaign performance, analyze key metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversions), and provide insights for continuous improvement.
- Assist in monitoring email lists to ensure targeted communication based on constituent personas, campaign goals and CASL (Canadian Anti-Spam Law) compliance.
Website Support:
- Assist in monitoring the organization's websites and landing pages, ensuring content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with marketing goals.
- Collaborate with the web development and design teams to update website pages, banners, and other digital assets as needed.
- Monitor website performance and user experience, making recommendations for improvements where necessary.
- Support the integration of new content, promotions, and campaigns across the websites to drive conversions.
Social Media Management:
- Assist the Social Media Coordinator and Marketing Manager in executing social media campaign across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X, Pinterest, YouTube, Focus on the Family app, and LinkedIn.
- Ensure content aligns with ministry messaging and campaign objectives.
- Execute a results-driven social media strategy by creating engaging content (written, video, and photo) tailored to each platform.
- Collaborate with the Social Media Coordinator to monitor and manage social media channels for trends and opportunities to increase engagement.
ABOUT YOU
- You have proven experience in digital marketing strategies including, including content creation, user engagement, and analytics.
- You must have high proficiency in digital marketing platforms, tools and software (desired: HubSpot, Google ads, Meta ads) and CASL regulations.
- You possess excellent copywriting and verbal communication skills for creating marketing content.
- You have the ability to manage deadlines, prioritize tasks, and collaborate effectively with a team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, Marketing or a related field
- At least 2-3 years of experience in marketing, social media management, email marketing, or website content management.
- Proficiency in digital marketing platforms, tools and software (desired: HubSpot, Google ads, Meta ads) and CASL regulations.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, TikTok) and tools for creating and managing engaging content.
- Understanding of digital marketing strategies, including content creation, user engagement, and analytics.
- Knowledge of SEO and content marketing principles is an asset
- Familiarity with non-profit organizations or ministry work is an asset.
- Willing and able to work as part of a team, capable of drawing on the strengths and resources of team members and the organization
- Active participant in the organization’s devotions time
