Read and meditate on this Scripture verse: “Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good.” (Romans 12:9 ESV)

Answer these discussion questions:

1. 1. When was a time when you didn’t obey God and what was the outcome?
   2. How can you hold fast to what is good, even amidst pressure from the world around you?

Spend time in prayer:

Heavenly Father,
Please help me hold on to what you want me to.
Thank you for your forgiveness and the fact that you love me even when I fail.
Let me show my love for you through my obedience.
In Jesus’ name I pray,
Amen.
