About the Position

We are currently recruiting for a full-time Integrated Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team who will manage campaigns that promote the programs, activities and content of Focus on the Family Canada through various channels, help raise awareness about the ministry, and increase engagement with the families we serve – specifically through digital channels. The role requires experience in marketing campaign management and specific knowledge and experience in the digital space. The position is based out of our head office in Langley, BC, and is eligible for full health and dental benefits.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Digital Marketing:

  • Lead the planning and management for all digital marketing campaigns from initial concept and campaign development through to execution and reporting.
  • Manage our online marketing database and our marketing efforts through website properties, email, social media and social advertising.
  • Lead the strategy, planning and optimization of marketing and funnel workflows including engagement, cultivation, content planning, conversion tracking and optimization.
  • Create strategic and effective content engagement for different online and social media channels (Google, blog, Facebook/Instagram, YouTube, podcast platforms, etc.). Test and track results.
  • Write thoughtful, compelling and well-crafted copy/story for email marketing, social media channels, landing pages and long-form content.
  • Help increase sales revenue through ecommerce specialization and best practices.
  • Work with our internal videographer to develop strategies, stories and promotional videos for our online properties, social media channels, emails, special campaigns and more, and execute these objectives using storytelling and marketing/fundraising best practices.
  • Lead best practices on video distribution through YouTube, Vimeo, email and other social media channels to engage families with Focus on the Family resources.

Manage Promotional Campaigns:

  • Assist the Integrated Marketing department in the development of the overall marketing and promotional strategy. The primary focus will be through digital and social channels but will also include channels such as print, radio and events.
  • Create and manage a detailed annual promotional calendar.
  • Manage marketing and promotional plans through the appropriate departments to ensure they are executed accordingly and successfully. Specific duties may change for each campaign but could include:
    • Help drive the creation of the marketing concept
    • Research and recommend the channels to be used
    • Documenting campaign briefs for internal stakeholders
    • Drafting marketing or promotional content
    • Working with the editorial, design and video staff to create the needed marketing pieces.
  • Manage annual promotional and advertising budget.

Measurement and Reporting:
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns against goals.
  • Continuously optimize digital marketing campaign elements (ie. channels, creative, copy) to ensure campaigns are driving desired outcomes and reaching established goals.
  • Drive conversion optimization through A/B tests and experiments and contribute to a learning culture.

For primary consideration you must bring the following to this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or relevant field.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a digital marketing and marketing management or advertising.
  • Previous experience in leading and managing staff.
  • Proven success in the management of digital marketing campaigns required.
  • In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, best practices and website analytics.
  • Up to date on the latest trends and technologies in digital marketing.
  • Highly creative with excellent analytical abilities.
  • Willing and able to work as part of a team, capable of drawing on the strengths and resources of team members and the organization.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with CRM systems like NetSuite and HubSpot preferred.
  • Previous work experience at a marketing or promotional agency considered an asset.
