Focus on the Family Canada celebrates 40 years! 

Forty years ago, Focus on the Family Canada started in a one-room office building in Vancouver, BC. Since then, we have grown to be the largest global partner of Focus on the Family, offering help and encouragement to millions of families in Canada as they build their lives on the foundation of Jesus Christ.

It takes work to strengthen a marriage, to raise children well, to tackle life’s challenges and to deepen one’s faith – that’s why Focus on the Family Canada exists. We are committed to strengthening families in Canada through trusted, biblically based resources and programs, personal counselling, prayerful support, and much more.

Because of the generosity of donors across the country, thousands of families in Canada have been offered hope in Christ through faith-based resources and support to help them in times of need at every stage of life.

Thanks to the support of friends like you, we’ve been able to make the following possible:

• • Focus on the Family has aired over 100 million minutes of radio programming in Canada since 1983.
  • There have been nearly 11.5 million visits to FocusOnTheFamily.ca since 2018.
  • Approximately 1.2 million prayer requests have been shared with Focus on the Family Canada.
  • 3,993,611 people have visited the Kids of Integrity website since 2016.
  • There are three retreat centres in Canada: Kerith Creek in Alberta, Kerith Pines in Manitoba and now Kerith Waters in Ontario!
  • Over 1,600 individuals and couples have attended a Kerith Ministry Leaders Retreat.
  • Over 900 guests have attended a Hope Restored marriage intensive in Canada.
  • FocusFamille.ca for French-speaking families has an average of 67,437 visits per year.
  • 28,000 ministry leaders have called the Clergy Care Network for counselling and support since 2003.

As our world changes and the cultural pressures on families continues to grow, we aim for Focus on the Family Canada to be the trusted place for families to turn to for support when navigating challenges.
